Children begin with a fun ambidextrous drawing warm-up, using both hands to draw simple shapes and lines — loosening fingers, wrists, and preparing their hands for painting.

Children paint on wet paper using watercolours, watching colours flow and blend. They experiment with salt for sparkly textures and tissues for soft effects — discovering how different materials change the artwork.

While their paintings dry, children play a guided shape-fusion game — combining simple shapes and ideas to spark imagination, visual thinking, and creative problem-solving.

Children pick two cue cards (landscape, animals, or birds), draw their chosen subject using oil pastels or acrylics, and add it onto their watercolour background — finishing their artwork and sharing it with the group.
