A 10-day chess journey where children build real skills through structured lessons and guided practice. Children learn piece movement, solve puzzles, and play thoughtfully designed games that build understanding step by step.
What You’ll Experience
Piece Movement & Board Familiarity
Children learn how each piece moves and captures, along with board orientation and square identification. Practice is done through guided setups and simple movement drills.
Tactical Puzzle Quest
Students solve short positions focused on identifying checks, captures, and immediate threats. The aim is to build pattern recognition and accuracy in simple tactical situations.
Opening - The First moves
Focus on controlling the center, developing pieces, and king safety through castling. Students play short games applying these principles from the starting position.
The Final Strike - Winning and Losing a game
Students learn basic checkmating patterns using major pieces and practise them in simplified positions. This is reinforced through structured mini games with reduced material.
